1. Who we are

PayrollFerry is a desktop software product provided by OBB Holdings LLC, doing business as HalyardCo ("PayrollFerry," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy covers the PayrollFerry application, its license keys, and support. If you have any question about it, email support@payrollferry.com.

2. Everything runs on your own computer

PayrollFerry reads your payroll reports and writes the isolved import file directly on your own machine. All of the conversion happens locally. Your clients' payroll data - names, Social Security numbers (SSNs), wages, bank and account numbers, hours, the contents of the files you feed in, and the import files you generate - never leaves your computer. It is not uploaded to us, it is not routed through a cloud middleman, and we never receive it, store it, or have access to it.

3. The one thing the software sends: its version number

When PayrollFerry runs, the only information it transmits to us is its own version number, tied to your license key. We use that single detail so we can tell which version of PayrollFerry you are running and support you well - for example, to know whether you already have a fix or an update. Nothing else is sent.

4. What the software never sends

To be completely clear, the software does not transmit any of the following, and none of it ever leaves your machine:

• Payroll data of any kind;
• Names, Social Security numbers, wages, hours, or bank and account numbers;
• The contents of any file you open or any import file you create;
• The names of your files;
• Counts of what you converted - how many files, how many checks or records, or which report formats you used;
• Any other personal information.

The version number and your license key are all that leave the machine. That is the whole picture.

5. When you buy or contact us

Separate from the software itself: when you purchase a subscription, our payment processor collects the billing details needed to set up your license and take payment, and we receive your name, firm name, and business email so we can issue your key and reach you about your account. When you email support, we receive your message and whatever you choose to include. We use this limited business information only to sell, activate, and support the product. Please do not send real client payroll data in a support email unless we have agreed on a secure method first - you do not need to, because the software keeps that data on your machine.

6. A support company, not a surveillance company

The design is the point. Keeping your clients' payroll data on your own computer is not an afterthought - it is how PayrollFerry is built. We do not sell information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not want a copy of your clients' data. We collect the version number to support you, and the limited account information to bill and reach you. That is all we want.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account, license, and billing information for as long as your subscription is active and for the period afterward that legal, tax, and recordkeeping rules require. We keep support messages long enough to resolve your request and keep a reasonable history. Because your payroll data stays on your machine, how long that is kept is entirely up to you.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the account and support information we hold about you, subject to legal and recordkeeping limits. To make a request, email support@payrollferry.com and we will help.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "draft prepared" date above and, for any material change, give reasonable notice.
